are you addicted to Gmail becuse of it' s extraordionary service? so why not set Gmail as default E-mail client in the FireFoxas as i have done. when FirFox 3 released , at that time Yahoo was the only webmail service that could be selected directly but now Gmail has been added to the list of mail application.Follow the following steps to set Gmail as default E-mail client in FireFox.
1. Click on Tool from standard Toolbar .
2. you will get a drop down list , click on option.
3. Click on application Tab
4. Search For Mail and select Gmail from the list of action associated with the mail to protcol and click ok
