Manage Several e-mail Accounts with Multiple Inboxes in Gmail

According to me Google Mail ( Gmail) is father of email revolution , because of Gmail many other email service provider improved their services. for this , i want to thanks to Google.Gmail got popular within short span of time as compare to other email service provider like Yahoo! and Hotmail. it happened only because of extraordinary quality of Gmail over others. today Gmail is not only up to me and you , many big enterprises in the world have already started using professional version of Google Mail, so we can imagine , How much enterprise trust on Google?Recently Google added "Multiple Inboxes " feature in Gmail Labs that you can use to customize the different " Inboxes" you see in one view when you log into Gmail . if you forward all your work or personal e-mail to Gmail, you can use multiple inboxes to See your two accounts separately within the same browser window.

To use multiple Inboxes facility in your Gmail account follow the following steps.

1. Log on into your Gmail accounts after that click on "Setting"==>>Lab tab or Green conical flask which you will get near setting tab.
    and enable "Multiple Inboxes" Featues.

2.Click on setup filter to auto Archive all mail sent to your personal  address or other for detail " Setup Filter" Click Here

3. Customize one of your multiple Inboxes to show mail sent to your other address. to do this , go to the "Multiple Inbox" tab under setting and setup one of the panes to search for mail sent to your other address.

4. (Optional) Use a "custom from" address Gmail's custom 'From:' feature lets you use Gmail to send messages with another of your email addresses listed as the sender in place of your Gmail address. This way, it's easier to manage multiple accounts from the Gmail interface. The custom 'From:' feature works only if you already own the alternate address as part of a separate account. To send mail with a different Gmail username, you must first sign up for that address.  so that replies will be sent from Gmail but as if they're from your other account. This way, your coworkers or classmates won't know the difference.

Once you're set up: sending mail.

To use a verified custom 'From:' address when composing a new message, pick an address from the drop-down menu in the 'From:' field. If you're replying or forwarding, click change next to the 'From:' field first. You can also choose to automatically use the address to which a message was sent.

To edit the name, configuration or reply-to address for an existing entry, click edit next to the address on your Accounts tab. To delete an address, just click delete.
Note for IMAP/POP users: If you access Gmail through a POP or IMAP email client (e.g. Outlook) and would like to send messages with a custom "from" address, you have two options. We recommend that you configure your email client with two outgoing SMTP servers, one for Gmail and one for your other address. Your second option is to use Gmail's outbound servers with a different "from" address. If you've already configured the custom from address in the web interface, your message will be sent from:otheraddress@domain.com, sender:username@gmail.com, regardless of which custom from configuration you chose. Your messages will be sent from your regular Gmail address if you never configured your custom from settings in the web interface.

I use Multiple Inboxes to keep track of email sent to my college alumni address which I forward to Gmail. I used to filter, label, and auto-archive all these messages , but found that I rarely looked at the relevant labels. Now with a separate "inbox" I can see them easily without cluttering my primary inbox.

Happy Gmailing
